About WealthGraphd

Who's behind this, how we decide where things sit on the chart, and what we get out of it.

Who's behind this

WealthGraphd is built and run by one person, Henry. It started from wanting a fast, independent way to check whether an insurance quote actually stacks up against CPF, Singapore Savings Bonds, or T-bills, without booking a call or working through a benefit illustration line by line to find out. Henry holds no financial advisory licence and doesn't sell insurance or investment products directly -- as the "How this site makes money" section below explains, the only money this site makes is a possible referral fee if you choose to use the optional adviser-matching form, and that doesn't change which product is shown where on the chart.

What WealthGraphd is

WealthGraphd is an independent educational tool for comparing Singapore savings and insurance-style products against real benchmarks -- CPF, Singapore Savings Bonds, T-bills, and fixed deposits -- on a single risk/return chart. It's built for anyone who's been handed a benefit illustration and wants a quick, honest sense of where it actually sits before talking to anyone about it.

What WealthGraphd is not

WealthGraphd is not a licensed financial adviser. Nothing on this site is financial advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, avoid, or compare specific named products. Every product plotted on the chart is a real, currently-offered plan, linked to that insurer's own official product page -- but the return figure we plot for it can be an illustrated or projected number (the bonus rate an insurer itself shows in its own marketing or benefit illustration), because that's how participating and investment-linked products are quoted industry-wide. Where an insurer doesn't publish a single headline rate for a plan, we say so on its chart entry rather than estimate one. Always work from your own Product Summary and Benefit Illustration before deciding anything.

How we decide where a product type sits

Government and bank benchmark figures (CPF, SSB, T-bills, SGS, fixed deposits) are real, current published rates as of the "last updated" date shown, sourced from CPF Board, MAS, SSB issuance schedules, and published bank fixed deposit rates -- and because these move independently of us, the chart shows a snapshot that can drift out of date between updates. Insurance product figures are each a real, named, currently-offered plan from that insurer -- not a category placeholder -- linked to its own official product page. The return we plot is that specific product's own guaranteed rate where one exists, or its insurer-illustrated bonus/projected rate where the plan is quoted that way (as most participating and investment-linked plans are); where a plan's exact rate isn't published anywhere, we say so on its chart entry instead of estimating a number.

How this site makes money

WealthGraphd is free to use. When you submit an enquiry through the "Get matched, free" form, we pass your details to a licensed financial adviser partner, and may be compensated for that introduction. This doesn't change what we show you on the chart or in our guides -- our content isn't written to favour any particular product, insurer, or adviser. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what's shared and with whom.

Editorial process

Guides and product pages are researched and written by the WealthGraphd editorial team and checked against publicly available regulatory and product information. If you spot something that looks outdated or wrong, email [email protected] and we'll look into it.
